GRANTS AND SUPPORT

Since our constitution in 1992, we have opted to support the study, but above all the effort, be it in the academic, personal and / or human sphere. We pride ourselves on our cooperation with various national institutions such as the Spanish Navy and the University of Oviedo, and we are pleased to be able to extend our sponsorship to new entities such as UNED and the "Fundación Proyecto Hombre".

Charles of Habsburg’s First Journey to Spain and the sinking of the Engelen

“El primer viaje de Carlos de Habsburgo a España y el hundimiento del “Engelen” (Charles of Habsburg’s First Journey to Spain and the sinking of the Engelen)

Author: F. Javier López Martín

Charles of Habsburg’s journey to Spain in 1517 was not just a mere nautical voyage, but also a political tour which took place after Ferdinand the Catholic's death.

This book stands out both because of its proximity to the main characters and because of its methodology, as it makes extensive use of documents issued by English ambassadors to Charles of Habsburg during the months preceding his journey to Spain.
