OMEGA

'Findings', my previous exhibition, consisted of the disposition of objects and geographical coordinates over painting, which were collected at places which are significant to me. In this last series, 'Omega', the objects are substituted for neoprenes...

This time, neoprene is the only protagonist of the painting. I have endeavoured to distort it as little as possible, for all the emotional load it carries for belonging to our son and giving it the volume and space it needs.

Through the discharge as seabeds, skies, horizons, clouds, etc. I am building the foundation to next give a new life to this neoprene, in the same way as Anselm Kiefer's integrated objects or Robert Morris's felt pieces, even imitating African sculptures.
