María Calvo
I was born in Silvamayor, in the council of Valdés. At the age of four, my parents took me to Madrid, where I studied and worked in the public health care until shortly after my retirement, when I came back to Asturias to stay.
I have studied watercolor painting techniques at the UPE of Rivas Vaciamadrid, at AEDA, and at Estudios Solana (all of them located in Madrid). I started doing acrylic painting and using mixed techniques at Estudio Solana in Madrid, and I currently attend the art workshop of Nacho Suárez in Avilés...
